1. Title Events 2011 - extended deadline
In the IISHF Communication Letter 2010-09 (published July 23, 2010) we announced the following:
"The process of finding host for the Title Events the coming years 2011 and 2012 is an ongoing procedure. We have so far received a number of candidates for the events the coming years. For 2011 we would like to announce the hosts this year. In order to do so we would like other candidates to indicate their interest latest by August 31, 2010. For 2012 we would like candidates to indicate their interest latest by September 30, 2010. In order to sanction an event we need a formal application made by the National Member Association".
The IISHF Presidium has decided to postpone the deadline for applications for Title Events 2011 from 31 August 2010 to 30 September 2010. We should give 2 months time for new candidates (especially because of vacation time) and this set the deadline to end of September. We apologize for this correction but believe this should benefit the search for the best hosts for the Title Events 2011.
SHC Givisiez of Switzerland is applying for hosting the Men European Cup 2011 and has offered in addition to host minimum 1 or 2 other title events in 2011.
Please note that the IISHF Presidium after September 30, 2010 will fix all title events for 2011 for which official and complete application forms have been provided.
Title Events 2011 (setup of events updated)
Please note that until an event has been officially sanctioned the event is still open for other applicants within the deadline.
